Mural Mosaic, 55011 RGE RD 255 , Sturgeon County, Albertam, Canada.

The murals on "Cochrane's Mural Mosaic" site are amazing. They are made up of hundreds of other tiny murals. It is a must-visit attraction in Cochrane.

The Mural Mosaic is in heart of the Cochrane RancheHouse. This mural depicts the spirit of Cochrane.

Mural Mosaic is a process invented by artist Lewis Lavoie that takes individual paintings and places them in a specific order to create a large painting. The first Mural Mosaic was created in 1997 for a retaining wall next to an art gallery in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada.

Activities for Students: The Mural Mosaic "Pubble Murals" are an interactive art activity that invite your entire school / communtiy to create individual paintings representing the diversity and creativity of each student. All the paintings are combined to form a mural of one united image. The aim of this project is to bring students together, celebrate their individuality, create synergy and leave behind a mural that will become a legacy for years to come.

Visit Cochrane's Mural Mosaic to see how this amazing mural was created.

Viewing times are available during office hours of the Town of Cochrane Municipal Offices between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (except holidays).
