The RCMP Heritage Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan, is a museum dedicated to the history and legacy of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The RCMP Heritage Centre officially opened to the public on May 23, 2007. The centre was established to preserve and showcase the history, traditions, and contributions of the RCMP. It is located near the RCMP Academy, Depot Division, the training facility for all RCMP recruits.
The RCMP Heritage Centre features a variety of exhibits and collections that explore the history and operations of the RCMP.
Displays include uniforms, equipment, weapons, and personal items used by RCMP officers throughout history. Also exhibits feature interactive elements, such as virtual reality experiences and multimedia presentations
The centre hosts rotating temporary exhibits that cover a wide range of topics related to law enforcement, Canadian history, and the RCMP’s role in modern society. The centre features a theatre that screens documentaries and films about the RCMP’s history and missions.
The gift shop offers a variety of RCMP-themed merchandise, including books, apparel, and souvenirs. The centre is wheelchair accessible and provides amenities to ensure a comfortable visit for all guests.
The centre charges an admission fee, with discounts available for children, seniors, and groups. Admission fees support the maintenance and operation of the museum.
