The Saskatchewan Science Centre, located in Regina, Saskatchewan, is an interactive science museum dedicated to igniting scientific curiosity through dynamic and engaging experiences. Established in 1989 within a former power plant in Wascana Centre, it operates as a non-profit charitable organization.

Permanent Exhibits:

  • Critters! :- This exhibit showcases live animals, including a bearded dragon, sugar glider, great horned owl, snakes, and salamanders.
  • Ukrainian Science Park:- An outdoor playground featuring structures that demonstrate physics principles, such as pulleys and tunnels
  • WILD! Saskatchewan:- An interactive exhibit focusing on the environment and conservation efforts within the province.
  • Space Stadium Canada:- Highlights Canadian contributions to space exploration and includes interactive features like the gyro gym, a device similar to NASA's astronaut training equipment.
  • Richardson Ag-Grow-Land:- Explores Saskatchewan's agricultural industry, emphasizing modern farming technologies and logistics.
  • Science of Hockey:- Examines the sport of hockey through a scientific lens, offering interactive experiences such as brainwave-controlled games and physical skill tests.

Kramer IMAX Theatre:

Opened in 1991, the Kramer IMAX Theatre is Regina's sole IMAX facility. It underwent a conversion to IMAX 3D in 2010 and further renovations in 2023, including the installation of a digital laser projector, a new screen, and an upgraded 12-channel Dolby Atmos sound system. Notably, it remains one of only two theatres in Canada capable of screening films in traditional 70 mm format.

The Science Centre offers a variety of educational and entertainment programs, including interactive demonstrations, stage shows, and special events like Adult Science Nights, the Ignite! Festival, and the After Dark Film Series.
