Barney's Adventure Park, located in Drumheller, Alberta, is the region's largest outdoor adventure park, offering over 15 acres of activities that celebrate the area's rich coal mining, agricultural, and prehistoric heritage.

The park is divided into three main themed areas:

  • Barnyard:This area honors Drumheller's agricultural history. Visitors can explore a corn maze, interact with animals in the petting zoo, watch Ma Gilbert's daily pig races, and visit the giant pumpkin and sunflower patches. Activities like the pumpkin cannon and pedal cart races add to the fun.
  • Boomtown:Inspired by Drumheller's coal mining past, Boomtown features adventure courses that mimic historical sites such as the Morse Mine and the 11 Bridges to Wayne. Guests can enjoy ziplines, giant slides, and ninja gyms, providing both excitement and a glimpse into the area's industrial heritage.
  • Boneyard:Celebrating Drumheller's prehistoric significance, the Boneyard offers a Dino Dig Site, a Dino Truck experience, and a live dinosaur entrance. Visitors can also take photos with a T-Rex, immersing themselves in the world of dinosaurs.

Barney's Adventure Park operates seasonally, typically opening from June to October. The park is located just five minutes west of the Royal Tyrrell Museum on North Dinosaur Trail in the Drumheller Valley.
