Bayfront Park is a beautiful 40-acre (16-hectare) green space located at the western edge of Hamilton Harbour, near downtown Hamilton, Ontario. Once an industrial site, it has been transformed into a peaceful park that offers both relaxation and outdoor fun.

The park has a wide, paved trail that is about 1.5 kilometers long and 6 meters wide. This trail is perfect for walking, jogging, cycling, or rollerblading, and it connects to the nearby Pier 4 Park via the Macassa Bay walkway. Along the trail, you'll find benches and picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy views of the water and nature.

Bayfront Park also has a public boat launch, making it easy for kayakers and boaters to access the harbour. Fishing is allowed along the shoreline, and there is a natural grass amphitheater where events and concerts are held during the summer. The park is equipped with public washrooms and a large parking lot with 250 spaces, including additional spots for boat trailers.

The park features naturalized areas with wildflowers, shrubs, and trees, providing habitats for local wildlife. Birdwatchers can often spot various bird species, including swans and ducks, making it a great spot for nature enthusiasts.

The park is designed to be accessible to everyone, with paved pathways suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.
