The Canadian Canoe museum's mission is to preserve and share the culture and history of the canoe. The museum is fully wheelchair accessible, and parking is free.

The Canadian Canoe Museum is a, family-friendly place that offers a fascinating look at Canadian history as seen from a canoe.

The Canadian Canoe Museum is a unique national heritage centre that explores the canoe’s enduring significance to the peoples of Canada, through an exceptional collection of canoes, kayaks and paddled watercraft. We’re an engaging, family-friendly museum with more than 100 canoes and kayaks on display. The museum’s holdings now number more than 600 canoes, kayaks and paddled watercraft.

The Canadian Canoe Museum is a private not-for-profit organization with charitable status.

HOURS OF OPERATION
  • Monday to Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Free Admission from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
  • Friday & Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: Noon to 5 p.m.
  • The Museum is open daily except for December 25 and 26, January 1 and 2.
  • On December 24 and December 31st the Museum closes at 2:00pm.
ADMISSION
  • Adult (18+): $12.00 Senior (65+): $9.50
  • Student (ages 5-17 or with valid ID): $9.50
  • Family (up to 2 adults and 4 children ages 5-17): $30.00
  • Child (under 5): Free
  • Members: Free
  • All rates include HST
