Sudbury

Sudbury, often referred to as the mining capital of the world, is situated beside Ramsey Lake in northern Ontario. Greater Sudbury was created in 2001 by merging the cities and towns of the former Regional Municipality of Sudbury with several previously unincorporated geographic townships. It is the largest city in the Northern Ontario region by population. By land area, it is the largest city in Ontario. The Sudbury Theatre Centre is a cultural highlight of Sudbury. Dinosaur Valley Mini Golf is a great attraction, with educational value. The Flour Mill Heritage Museum and Copper Cliff Museum are rich source of interesting information.
