New Brunswick Botanical Garden

The New Brunswick Botanical Garden is a provincial park in Edmundston, New Brunswick. The Botanical Garden opened in June 1993.

It has more than 80,000 plants. The Botanical Garden opens in early May and is open daily for the summer season. The New Brunswick Botanical Garden includes 11 thematic gardens and 2 arboretums on more than 20 acres of land along the Madawaska River.

Visitors can explore the medicinal and aromatic plant garden to study about 100 species of therapeutic, cosmetic and culinary plants. Throughout the season, guided tours as well as gardening and horticulture workshops are offered by reservation.

The Butterflies of the World exhibit, located in the visitor centre is another exciting view.

Many cultural and artistic activities, movie shows, painting and photography workshops, wood sculpting demonstrations etc are conducted thtoughout the season. For the convenience of the visitors there is a gift shop and exhibition centre in the Garden.

The park is wheelchair accessible. No pets are permitted in the gardens.
