CN Tower

290 Bremner Blvd., Toronto, Ontario, M5V 3L9, Canada.

The CN Tower is a communications and observation tower in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Its height is 553.33 metres (1,815.4 ft) tall.

The CN Tower was the world's tallest free-standing structure and had the world's hightest public observatory until 2010 when Dubai's Burj Khalifa officially took on the title.

Its name "CN" refers to Canadian National. It is a Member of "World Federation of Great Towers."

The tower is said to have 147 floors as the internal staircase has that many levels from the ground up to the Skypod, a public observation deck.

The tower is comprised of two main observation decks: the lower and larger SkyPod at 1,150 ft (351 m), and the higher but smaller Space Deck at 1,465 ft (447 m).

The CN Tower has UHF, VHF, Microwave, TV and fixed mobile communications facilities.

Though the tower primarily functions for radio and television signals, it also has attractive features for visitors. At the top of the tower are a revolving CN tower restaurant and lookout platforms.

Taking the glass elevator up to the observation decks of the Toronto CN tower is an experience in itself, and once you reach the top you’ll have the best view in the city.

The CN Tower has UHF, VHF, Microwave, TV and fixed mobile communications facilities.

The Space Deck was once the world's highest public observation deck.
